Nicole Perryman founded the practice in January 2013 with a vision of creating a holistic healing space for individuals, children, youth, and families. Originally established as Aset Group, the practice was developed to provide supportive, culturally responsive care that recognizes the connection between individual wellbeing, family relationships, and the broader systems that shape people’s lives.
Nicole’s therapeutic approach is grounded in social justice, systems theory, and trauma-informed practice, with a particular specialization in working with children and families. She believes deeply in the capacity of people, from childhood through adulthood, to heal from past experiences, strengthen their sense of self, and move toward the lives they envision for themselves. Healing and change are not always linear processes; they are ongoing journeys of growth, reflection, and transformation.
In addition to her psychotherapy practice, Nicole Perryman is a consultant, equity trainer, educator, and professor. In 2018, she founded Ifarada: Centre for Excellence and has since contributed to the development of related initiatives, including Wonderfully Made and the Kujenga Family Wellness Project. Across her clinical, educational, and community work, Nicole remains committed to creating spaces that support healing, equity, resilience, and meaningful change.

Healing is supported through safe, respectful, and authentic therapeutic relationships. Clients are met with compassion, curiosity, and care, with attention to building trust over time.

Emotional wellbeing is interconnected with the mind, body, relationships, family, community, and environment. Therapy considers the whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms or problems.

You are active participants in their therapeutic process. Goals, strategies, pace, and priorities are developed collaboratively rather than imposed by the therapist.
